@tommynoblethecouncilofheav4657 Except what happened in the Roman Empire over 200 years has been done in a couple of decades in modern Europe.

Get some bitcoin while it's cheap.

Trades will still be essential. But I foresee they will all eventually have to be employees of some large corporation that does those things. The Uberisation of the former self-employed, just like what's happening to taxi drivers.

You already are eating it. Quietly and slyly they are putting things like "cricket flour" into various foods and you're consuming it without realising.

You'll notice the highest profile targets are the people in a position to resist the "great reset": Small business owners. Libertarians/conservatives (Small c) Land owners/farmers.

@JakTheRipper-01 Indeed. One thing the Romans did later on however was use huge armies of mercenaries who were not Roman and didn't care either way for the interests of the Empire. With predictable results. So there are parallels there too.

@presidentelectzigenpuss3570 I'd think this is exactly what we need. If I can get everything I need in my local area/community, then why do I need central planning by the government? Sounds dangerously close to self-sufficiency to me. And that simply will not do.

But electricity is free isn't it? Doesn't it just come out of thin air?

I'd like all the gorillas, orangutans and chimpanzees to go back where they came from.

Revolution is not achieved by the masses. There is no "ground roots" populism. Revolution is achieved by a small number of very dedicated individuals - and furthermore it's almost unheard of for it to happen organically without the financing of some large interested institution or other. All the stuff we've seen recently like the BLM, trans and climate activism movements fit exactly into this mold and have changed our society hugely.

@occidentadvocate.9759 I mean for starters the Irish revolutionaries were backed by the German government - and personally I wouldn't call the rise of the NAZI party a "revolution", since it grew entirely within the existing democratic framework.

@occidentadvocate.9759 Your opinion in the matter is obviously far from objective.

I don't think it started as a plan. What you describe is an incidental effect of communication technology and how it has changed our culture and perception of the world. However the billionaire elites have not shirked at the opportunities this allows them to fortify their wealth and power - and perhaps more worryingly, to enact their ideological whims upon the world.

And whoever controls the internet can radicalise you in whatever manner they see fit. Tiktok is a Chinese company by the way. And what better way to get the edge on your rivals than to make them all stupid.

I've thought so for a while. "Ere the English began to hate" and all that. But I do wonder if the normie masses are too deracinated already. My suspicion is the boomers are the bedrock supporting this whole lie we live in. Once they are gone things might get spicy.

Let's not start thinking this will stop the third world immigration industrial complex.

@BusbyTreeSurgery Now might be a good time to get a horse and cart.
