  9. More likely NBC can see the wind changing and are trying to insert centrist and conservative talking points into the discussions. The race baiting and conspiracy theories don't fly any more. They know they are losing hard to Joe Rogan and similar outlets and now that they are realizing they can't cancel him, they will instead start trying to get a slice of that pie. I doubt even Whoopi actually believes half of what she says - she is paid handsomely to have a certain opinion and her opinion will change according to the script handed down to her.

The execs know the writing is on the wall for their divisive narratives and they are losing ground hand over foot to more popular voices like Joe Rogan. Look at the resignation of that execrable Zucker character recently... the new bosses have intimated they want to 'repair" CNN back to a serious fact based news channel. The wind is changing and the mainstream will adjust to go with it. One of these days you'll hear Whoopi criticizing critical race theory as if she always was against it.
