Boris was more resistant to the approved narrative than most western leaders and if truth be told most people were in agreement with him.

  20. Well yeah if you imagine the world was a ball made from lead, but in one place there is a part of it that is made from styrofoam. The styrofoam bit will be lighter per volume than the lead part. And explained simply to an idiot like me - lighter stuff creates less gravity than heavier stuff (at the same volume). It's the only possible explanation really for the phenomenon.

  22. I wonder if that is also the reason that Germany have been decommissioning their nuclear plants. They had 6 in 2021, they had 3 at the start of this year and as far as I know the plan to shut those down remains in place. But of course, that's in service of the INSANE "net zero" cult that seems to have gripped our European leaders. Here in the UK, our PM has launched a project to build a huge new nuclear plant - it's a bit late in the day but at least they are admitting the situation.
