  1. I'm late 40s. I wouldn't say I don't like people. But I have definitely become more selfish and focused on putting my own preferences first. I've become less of a people pleaser the last few years. Especially with women. I took my mother's advice "Be a nice boy" for nearly 40 years and it got me nothing but a shit sandwich.

  4. Listen I'm nearly 50 and recovering from a failed marriage. If I'd known half what I know now partly from watching other guys' advice on Youtube, I'd have had a much happier marriage - and my wife would have too. Know this.... we men MUST have the agency and control in any relationship but it has to start on DAY ONE. Set the ground rules like she's a toddler and have zero tolerance for disrespect. Don't keep any woman around for even a day longer who cannot come to terms with this. Sounds kind of harsh, but you have to treat women like this and they will love and respect you for it in the long term.

  9.  @floridaman7  Some are happy to date their same age. That one comment Jack responded to: "If you're a single dad, date a single mom". Well plenty of men in their 40s are divorced with children of their own and they want a more mature woman who isn't going to want to be out clubbing every night and isn't going to go through the I want a baby stage again. You date what's appropriate to you and that makes all the sense in the world, right?

  16. I tell you this: My son is 12 and he does not have a phone. Today he spent his day building a model of a Ford Mustang and also reading. His friend came around and off they went on their bikes and came back plastered in mud and that green lichen you get from climbing up trees... I did not ask for details. The weird thing is it's utterly inconceivable to many people how my kids can possibly survive, living life as everyone used to only about 20 years ago. Like the bloody bronze age, right? Of course I can't keep him in this state forever, but the fact is a crooked sapling will grow into a crooked tree and by the time he is old enough to buy his own phone, we will have avoided the formative years when the most damage is done and hopefully stand him in good stead to navigate the crazy digital insane asylum we are heading into.

In ancient times, if she couldn't get herself into the Manor Lord's harem, she'd have no choice but to settle for Burt the blacksmith's son or there would be great social stigma in not starting a family.

  19. That very first young guy, I watched his whole video and he is talking about setting up his own business cleaning windows - which he does by the way. It's a small company but he's the type of guy you can tell will be successful just because of his ambition and unwillingness to waste his time making someone else wealthy.
