  2. You'd be forgiven for thinking the defense never even showed up watching these videos. In fact, they gave a pretty comprehensive account of themselves and didn't even have to try. This cop is obviously guilty of nothing.

  3. But what do you change? The cop was following the procedure to the letter that the PD had trained him in. Likely hundreds of people a day who resist arrest are subdued in this way without incident. Do you take away that option to take a suspect to the ground and leave the cop with only his gun? I mean if I get pulled over by the cops, I co-operate... If I'm caught in the wrong then god-damnit I'm caught. I get in the cruiser without incident or resistance and I can guarantee my safety as a result. Sure I'm not black, but perhaps as a result of that I haven't been fed a fairytale horror story since I was a kid by the media that the Police want to murder me... so I'm not primed to fight for my life as soon as an officer taps on the window.

  5. He died from the result of prolonged use of hard drugs. He was off his noggin that day on fentanyl and meth. He'd had an overdose recently from the same cocktail. A witness was up in court describing it all. Also he'd had covid19 so was likely still recovering from that.
