  1. Oh mate I'm as guilty as any guy for this. My ex-wife is an absolute harpy-witch.... delusional in the extreme about my intentions and what I supposedly did/said years ago etc... I escaped 15 years of emotional abuse and bullying from this woman and EVEN AFTER THAT I am inclined to "let the past be the past" and try to reconcile with her. I can only assume that as men we are hardwired to do it like Pavlovian dogs....
