Yes this is my problem with her. She has no grace or courtesy. She just has her head down pouting the whole time and talking through pursed lips as if there's a bad smell. Like a petulant teenager. She has no gravitas at all. Either the director or the actress, or both, have no idea who Galadriel even is.

I've been fairly charitable for TROP so far, but Episode 4 really annoyed me. By far the best thing about it is the scenes between Elrond and Durin. As long as Durin's bloody wife isn't on screen. Oh and the environments are absolutely breathtaking. But Galadriel is really pissing me off. She's like a surly teenager and like Jeremy said just embarassingly OP like a typical wahmen superhero written by a feminist - so boring and predictable. The love affair between the black elf and the human woman (I don't care what their names are) is really cringe and awkward. Mercifully in Ep 4 we didn't have to endure the proto hobbits (again I neither remember nor care what they are called). Norri is cute but that's about it for them. I tried to give it 3/5 on Amazon Prime but it wouldn't even let me do that.

It's not entirely awful. There are some good things... you just have to push through the yawn and the cringe to get to them.

I will keep watching it. It's not the worst thing I ever saw. I really am only interested in the Elrond/Durin thing and the rest I am happy to skip through.

The scene in the woods? I saw what they were trying to do there - it didn't quite work. I was praying for somebody to die but alas.
