They are under pressure from their DEI departments or to comply with ESG guidelines that various progressive cult ideologies form part of - and they think this stuff is necessary, but nobody sound of mind buys into him being, for example, the mascot for Nike Womenswear. Mulvaney himself is mocking normal people who mostly find him distasteful. Like far too many trans women who claim to want to just be left alone, he presents his female persona as the most grotesque provocative caricature of femininity. Which is clearly on purpose. He's either an extremely disturbed individual or a top class brazen troll and there's no doubt he's making a mint out of it either way. I'd be tempted to put on the same act for such a nice payday.
