  1. It must be. In the UK our peak was around 60k cases being detected per day and around 1700 deaths daily. Now India have twenty times our population and much, much more poverty per capita than we do. I wouldn't even dare to guess at what the true scale of this is, but I doubt the government is hiding anything because most likely they really have no idea of the real numbers.
