  1. The word nimby is used as a perjorative, but they have a point. It's not a case of do you want more houses in your back yard, it's a case of do you want houses full of immigrants. Because that's what they will be. Immigration accounts for almost all of the UK's population growth which, after all, is why we need more houses in the first place.
