"The growing group of perpetrators are people under the age of 18" Gimme a break. We all know who the "growing group" of perpetrators are.

How in god's name are they going to enforce this?

I think you are sincerely underestimating the power that AI will have in the very near future. How are you going to stop the AI from getting your bank details?

It's also worth bearing in mind that the report includes "harassment" and "online abuse" as types of violence. And, by the way, the average age of the victim is 13. Which, given events in places like Rotherham in recent years, makes you think....

Good point. This entire video we're watching may well be fake.

They "flee" here because they know we are a soft touch. Easy to get into and generous benefits when you're here. The equation would change quickly if they had to join the military once they were here.

It's terrifying mate. Imagine an AI calling your daughter using your voice and getting her to go somewhere. We're looking at a future where the internet becomes not only useless because everything is fake, but is actively dangerous for the same reason.

It's very rare they open up the comments like this. It will probably be shut down within a few hours.

@barcelonachair6487 I fear these are futile security measures that may have been effective up to this point, but that will be a trivial matter for Ai to circumvent. If your child calls you back but the AI has already taken control of the phone... then what? How about if the AI blocks your child's call and then calls you in their voice...?

Yes, the military needs HR as well.

This is likely to flip society upside down. And it didn't take a superintelligent AI with an army of skynet robots to f**k things up. This is pretty dumb AI that WE have deployed ourselves, which is disrupting the online ecosystem that we have stupidly made ourselves entirely reliant on over just he last decade or two.

Here is the future folks. You will not be able to rely on anything that you see or use online. The news... your bank account... communicating with your children.... none of it can be trusted. In essence, the internet looks like it will become unusable in the very near future. Make sure you are prepared to take care of yourself without relying on online tech.

It does seem "off" somehow, like talking in a way that doesn't seem natural to Martin's usual manner. But I can see a lot of folk being fooled. AND just wait in a few months time all these imperfections will be ironed out and it will be able to fool you and I too. It could literally be reading comments like this and figuring out the areas it needs to improve... 😬
