  2. I'm nearly 50 and no, this sort of thing was just unheard of. In the UK we had the Dunblane school attack in 1996 but back then it was considered a once in a lifetime atrocity. Now in the UK there's something like it every year and it seems like hardly a month goes by without one somewhere in Europe.
