  1. For that matter it could be a drone that locates the victim and drops some floatation with flares etc. Amazing tech that is available already just needs a little refinement and companies willing to spend the money on it.

  2. We used to do this kind of drill on our family yacht which was only a 50 foot vessel and damn if it isn't a lot harder than you'd think to fish a ring out of the warer let alone a person.

  3. Honestly even when I'm on a ferry with a couple of hours crossing time I never drink from the bar. If anything did happen I want to be fully sober.
