I relate to this. I get "silent" migraines. No pain, no headache, but I go partly blind and slur my speech. It comes on quick and I sometimes pull over if I'm driving. It's all over in about a half hour and then I feel kind of euphoric. I feel pretty lucky that mine don't debilitate me for long.

Depends on the book. One book might be worth 100 others.

One of the initial statents, that the Roshoman effect undermines the notion of a single objective truth, is obviously false. The samurai is dead. Something killed him. That something is objectively true, regardless of the recollections of the witnesses. Truth is separated into the objective and the subjective. Much discussion has been had over human history about how the two do not necessarily depend on each other.

@pand0ra204 I have no idea honestly. I get the shimmering-edged blind spot that characterizes this kind of migraine, which would confirm it. My doctor did say when I first started having them to be careful who I tell because I could get my driving license taken away if they suspect it was epilepsy. I mean this was many years ago so I'm sure I'm not epileptic at this point.

@BroodierLily296 Yes it is very scary at first. Like many others say, I thought I was dying the first time. Once I knew what to expect, there was no fear. I can just wait the thing out for a while and then get on with my day. I'm thankful I don't get any more serious effects.

Me too I was about 20 my first one. They got really regular for about a year or so, but now years later I hardly ever get them.
