  2. We Brits had the technology and the organisation. You can moan on all you like about the "crimes" of the British Empire, but at the end of the day it's all jealousy and bitterness that your nation, whoever they were, didn't get there first. We all know they'd have done the same if they had. The whole of human history is a tale of conquest - those who won were not the most evil. They were simply the best of their time.
