And only after that, as Hamas leaders declared, is a "serious and decent agreement on the exchange of prisoners" possible. These principles have been publicly repeated several times by the Hamas leadership. The reality looks like this: Israel can resume fighting in 42 days, which means that Hamas, contrary to its central demand, has signed an agreement that does not guarantee an end to the war. 2. The IDF is not currently withdrawing its troops completely from the Gaza Strip. According to Israeli media reports, there are restrictions on screening displaced persons returning to destroyed homes. 4. The reconstruction of the Gaza Strip will only now really begin.
