  5. You know emts and paramedics see injured people in pain. Everyday. It's part of their job. After awhile, they all become a blur. You don't remember their names. Just the associated injury to them. Ask doctors and nurses. When you start caring too much about every sick and injured person you come across, you will eventually be drained. There's not enough compassion to go around. For every single person from just one person. People disassociate themselves from their work. It's another day in the office. Or else you won't last.

  19. None of the actions these officers displayed was sanctioned. These were bad cops. They weren't trained to do this. They did this on their own. And we already have laws that says this is wrong and you shouldn't do this. You people just want your emotions satisfied with some legislation that won't change a thing. It's about culture. From top down.
