Fed claims they bet the farm on transitory inflation. It's hard to say i believe they are really that naive, or this is some plan to raise inflation, and more importantly, interest rates. There's no way economy could handle these rates as good as they are without trillions in covid spending that caused the inflation in the first place. So either Fed is really stupid, or they are sneaky in their methods. Wasn't long ago Fed was targeting "higher than average inflation". Remember that?

Oh it wasn't the government spending that was nearly 40%+ spent wastefully? Like when California cities paid $2,000 in airfare and hotel to be tourists in their cities? Or when you paid inmates PPP loans? Or gave millions of small business money to stay closed? Give me a break... Central banks struggled to create inflation for years. Wasnt until fiscal policies flooded the economy with wastefil liquidity.
