  1. They stopped distributing it stating it doesn't work. Comparing individual areas rather than comparing areas to themselves is disingenuous when covid spikes regularly. Take the US. Spikes happen relatively uniformly, most notably in January and in September. When reviewing states specifically you can see a pattern of the unvaccinated getting infected more often and dying very quickly. The UK isn't doing great, but daily infections are still lower than in January, and it's far more likely that increases in infections are from a mixture of Delta and people protesting restrictions, as well as reduced masking and social distancing from people being a bit fed up of the whole thing. Israel was seen as a huge spike for example, but Florida was far worse than Israel ever was. While the vaccine does reduce symptoms, it also reduces infections. That's why we don't see any wild type infections and more, and even delta is sharply reduced.
