@onniekeathleymusic They never called the ban xenophobic, they called his comments surrounding covid in general xenophobic. In fact the xenophobia comments came out before the ban was even announced.

@onniekeathleymusic Help this country? You're joking right? I'm not sure why you're so worried about our relationships with murderous dictators who try to influence our elections. Trump's border policy was far more severe, including separating parents from their kids, a move that is still costing the US millions in legal settlements. He also held to a "stay in Mexico" policy, a move that was viewed by pretty much every organisation associated with immigration and the border, as inhumane. Allowing people to cross and taking them through the standard asylum seeker practices is what we've always done, and what the Biden administration's policy is. Telling people not to come is different to stealing their kids.
