@fatbastard9187 You know they aren't just letting people in right? They are allowing people to legally claim asylum, which has been the case for decades. Only Trump tried to ban asylum seekers, which are a legal way to enter the country. Those who enter illegally are still being kicked out.

@fatbastard9187 They'll do the same thing they've always done, catch as many as they can. Illegal border crossing dropped for a long time, and the fact they are increasing now is partially due to the time of year. There have also been increases in crossings steadily since last April. Blaming Biden for a trend that is over a year in the making is an odd move.

@fatbastard9187 You seem confused. Trump's policy was of family separation. The reference to kids in cages was children being forcefully separated from their families and imprisoned as their families were deported without them. This has nothing to do with borders being open, which has never been a Biden policy.

In fact, according to the Cato Institute and the American Immigration Council the recent increases in apprehensions are due to an increased number of repeated attempts at crossing after being turned away and not a surge in the number of new individuals crossing. Get a bloody clue.
