  1.  @imyourdaddy5822  You're joking right? Republicans have ruined the deficit every single time they're in office, and leave it to the Democrats to invest to bail them out. Would you believe Bush had a surplus when taking office? Trump doubled the deficit before the pandemic even started. The fact that you think that investing that money over 10 years is anything like the massive deficit we have is a joke. Investment like this pays strong dividends, with infrastructure projects making the money back in years, and making a surplus after. Here's a nice quote for you: "Reagan took the deficit from $70 billion to $175 billion. Bush 41 took it to $300 billion. Clinton got it to zero. Bush 43 took it from zero to $1.2 trillion. Obama halved it to $600 billion. Trump’s got it back to a trillion."

  3.  @nikki-ey1li  That's still true for Alpha as well though, the difference is the efficacy of the vaccines. For Alpha it was 95%, but for Delta it's lower. Estimates range from 88% to 42% on that, but many vaccinated people cannot catch Delta. In reality however we'll soon need a new version of our current vaxxes to fight variants.

  4.  @nikki-ey1li  Medicines that only work if everyone takes them....like the small pox vaccine. We didn't eradicate small pox until a large percentage of the population was inoculated.
