@lychee-dj9qo Correct, they're been using dual tests like this for months now.

How much of the original covid virus is floating around?
2
@RuthB51 Which is also why they upped the cycles a while back. They found 35 was a good sweet spot that caught all active infections both early and towards the end.
2
What about people who can't get the vaccine due to their immunocompromised bodies? Should we just leave them to die?
2
Literally nowhere is locked down right now, what are you on about.
1
@zm1786 Everyone is tested at 35 cycles you muppet.
1
@Specialistkay Cancer vaccines are really cool immunology stuff.
1
@zoso2850 Not a big achievement when the daily cases were higher than they were in January.
1
@zm1786 It reduces transmission rates. Young people can also get permanent organ damage, with over 30% of athletes getting cardiac inflammation from covid.
1
@MilwaukeeRider97 It does prevent you from contracting the disease. Did you not see how we're always talking about delta? That's because we have pretty much removed the wild type variant from the entire country through vaxes.
1
@chrissupport Oh the irony.
1
@dlproductions9574 Yet, and the number of people covid killed last year already completely topples your 99.99% fantasy. 0.1% of the US was killed by covid last year, 10 times your minimum survival rate lie.
1
@dlproductions9574 that's not what they say at all, and in fact states that do count covid this way have done analysis of cases and found that the number of covid caused deaths would only shift around 6%. Not counting comorbidities is just pathetic. Immunocompromised people deserve to live. Plenty of very healthy people also had covid and developed permanent heart damage as a result, especially young athletes. Heart attacks increased in 2020 as well, which may be the reason excess deaths were higher than reported covid deaths.
1
@dlproductions9574 Can't find what you're talking about. Johns Hopkins has an entire database of covid deaths and their numbers don't match anything close to your claim. Post a study or gtfo.
1
Severely immunocompromised person contracts deadly disease. I wonder what will happen next.
1
@MrHalified Only if you use an infinite number of cycles, which is why they limit cycles to a set number. A positive PCR means you have or have had covid recently. Antibody and antigen testing can determine the rest.
1
@nonenone4461 That's not why. They are switching to a dual flu covid test to save on plate wells.
1
@kaliprc Comparing yourself to people who died in the holocausts is disgusting and you should feel ashamed.
1
@kaliprc Kinda terrible overlords if you aren't actually forced to do anything aren't they?
1
@thisismagacountry1318 Sounds like you're arguing for a minimum wage increase.

Try watching the video.
1
@freedom4all108 So you watched it but your a disingenuous hack, is that what you're telling me?

Florida is many times worse than Israel.
1
@terryritter7065 Not recently it hasn't. Florida infections in the recent surge were much higher than in January, and their middle-ground stats come from a low initial surge. And yes, Florida has roughly 2.4 times the population of Israel, however they had more than 10 times the deaths this month. Israel are also testing far more frequently than Florida, meaning case numbers become difficult to quantify between the two, but if you really want to review case numbers and compare them to deaths you'll see the astronomically higher death rate in Florida.
1
@Nmdixon-cu7vm Florida was actually caught trying to hide covid deaths, not cause false positives. You should check the article on it: Florida changed its COVID-19 data, creating an ‘artificial decline’ in recent deaths
1
Rick Keen I live in Florida. They may have been 10th overall, but recently its been a disaster here. New York had issues at the start and in Jan, but recently they have been doing much better. Florida was the national leading this month.

Wearing a seatbelt literally makes no sense. Either way you're still in a car crash.
