@frankvandorp9732 They are on the right side of history, but okay. Do you even know what the research was about?
3
They didn't leave them for 9 days. The study was over 9 days, but the dogs were left for 1 hour in the netting, 2 at a time. The dogs were also taken from previous studies.
2
They were studying the behaviour of flies and their parasites in North Africa. Why would they test that here? The study also followed both Tunisian and US guidelines for animal welfare.
2
@Nathan-dt2tu Which study are you calling the second one?
1
It actually is. In fact it also helps dogs in the region.
1
Probably not. They were exposed to sand flies for a total of 5 hours over 9 days. Dogs in the wild in North Africa are exposed to them 24/7. What's more, the whole point of the research is to lower the spread of parasites in the region, which are carried by dogs.
1
The adult dogs were taken from other studies done in the area. There were only 12 of them, and they were already infected with parasites from the previous study.
1
True. There is a lot going unsaid about this study, and Tucker is actively pushing some real lies.
1
Like what? What did this study actually do?
1
@frankvandorp9732 Go cry somewhere else. Lab animals are killed in their millions each year. Go complain about the mice being given heart failure, or the dogs with failing kidneys.
1
@cowboy_strong He says, following propaganda like a script.
1
Nah. They didn't even die dude.
1
They were testing sand fly behaviours to try and figure out how to stop thousands of people per year being infected with parasites in the North African region.
1
You know they're dogs right?
1
They experiment on animals specifically because they don't think testing on people is okay. That's the whole point.
1
@saynotocensorship Actually it does, and for dogs too. The research was studying the behaviour of sand flies to see how they act in the North African region to both uninfected and previously infected dogs. These flies infect dogs and humans alike in the thousands per year, and learning how they behave is the first step to stopping their spread.

@planetofthevegans880 "If they have so much merit, why don't you volunteer for them?" Because 1. It's illegal and 2. it would be lethal.
1
You know they test on animals specifically so they don't need to test on people right?
1
All they want to do is find all the beagles in labs around the word and euthanise them for their own good. Is that so bad?
