Her role was to stem the root cause of migration, which is a substantially more long-term issue. She setup a system where US businesses fund businesses in Central America, improving those regions and as a result reducing migration. The long-term effects could take a decade to fully filter through. Now let me know why Republicans voted against border funding.

Kamala was put in charge of trying to stop migration at the root, not controlling the border directly. When Minneapolis what?
