@cwcsquared No, it isn't, and what's sad is that gas prices were substantially higher during the invasion of Iraq, but nobody batted an eye. Suddenly it's a global issue and prices are far lower than they were then. Trump however is the main reason prices rose recently. He made no effort to protect US frackers, and as a result the global price of oil going negative forced a lot of frackers to stop operations. It was just not profitable at a low price. Want to know something really sad though? Since the US imports oil and exports gasoline, we made money hand over fist from higher prices. If we had higher export taxes or export caps on gas then domestic gas would be cheaper, but we don't.
