@YoureNotThatGuyPal- There is absolutely no requirement to have a constitution in a republic. All republic means is that you don't have a monarch. Even if you have a constitution there is no guarantee that constitution protects anyone. A system where people vote for representatives who then make laws is a representative democracy, not a republic. The US is a constituional representative democratic republic.

@Luis_H423 Well sure, because I actually understand the original meaning of the term "republican" and why we call it a "constitutional republic" rather than just a republic. If you were right then constitutional republic would be like saying a "supermarket store" or a "shepherd farmer". All supermarkets are stores and all shepherd are farmers, but logically a republic without a constitution could exist.
