There are also funds for unemployment benefits, SNAP benefits, expanded child tax credits, covid vaccine delivery, rental assistance, mortgage assistance, eviction ban extension, state and local government funding, school reopening funding and small business loans. The pipeline would have cost $1.5 billion and would have added 11,000 temporary seasonal jobs over the 2 year construction timeline, so we can have a new pipeline linking up 2 areas that already have a pipeline running between them. Ever wonder if that $1.5 billion could be spent more effectively to create jobs? Keystone would have also raised gas prices, as the US exports more oil domestic prices increase. The current increase is due to refineries being shut down and global demand increasing, it has nothing to do with Biden.
