  1. @Ritt Jack It does work, just not perfectly. People are less likely to get infected, and people who get infected are less likely to die. Any idea how many breakthrough covid deaths their have been? Even with this new variant the number is less than 1,300. In fact, covid hospitalisations for the vaccinated are under 7,000, at a time when the US currently has 7,000 covid hospitalisations per day, and at the peak in January had over 16,000. Total covid hospital admissions have broken through 2.4 million, but among the vaccinated that number is 0.25% of the total hospitalisations.
