Literally the first thing the Nazis did was imprison then kill Marxists. All you're proving is that you have never actually read Marx and Engels.

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.

@colebehnke7767 1919, it was literally the same year.

@colebehnke7767 The time period you are referring to Hitler expressly kept his own forces out of any fighting. He was in the military years before the time period you are referring to, and became a spy for the German government, not the Bavarian military.

@KameradVonTurnip Nazis absolutely did not use Marxist economics. They in fact sold huge swathes of government owned businesses to private individuals. Literally all of socialism is built around the idea of workers collectively owning their own means of production. Nazism does not address that. It is not socialism. Marxism also advocates for democracy, which means actually the people would control everything, which is literally the opposite of totalitarianism. Marxism is indeed about the state, but only in conjunction with democracy, allowing for collective ownership. Without democracy it's not collective ownership and therefore not Marxism or even socialism Your whole race/class distinction is just propaganda drivel. Seriously, it's total nonsense just used to justify private ownership. Market Socialism has nothing to do with state ownership. Nope, all forms of socialism use social ownership, that's the point. Nazis were state capitalists. They allowed and encouraged private ownership while the state controlled markets, and even put workers in line for business owners. Nothing about Nazi Germany was socialist.

@mrsentencename7334 It's a pathetic and stupid point with no basis in reality. Socialism has absolutely nothing to do with absolute state power, and was in fact originally theorised to combat absolute power, both in monarchism and in wealth hoarding.

@mrsentencename7334 Sure, because any ideology can be cooped by dictators. In reality social welfare programs in democratic states are far better examples of socialism than anything non-democratic.
