  10.  @Senior215  Nah, you can't. There is just no way to stop someone buying weapons in a weak law state, transporting them into a city, and selling them on the black market. The person buying has no record of the purchase other than on paper stored inside the gun shop they purchased from, assuming they didn't buy them at gun shows in private sales, and they can't be accused of even breaking the law until they are selling their weapons privately in backalley deals. Once sold, the weapons are near untraceable if done correctly. It makes the whole process 100 times harder than it needs to be. Meanwhile, an online registry allows you to see if large numbers of firearms have been purchased, it allows you to check the weapons a person possesses against the weapons they currently possess, it even allows the return of stolen weapons to their correct owners.

  11.  @Senior215  Fearing misuse of the list is nothing compared to the insanely high homicide rate and rampant gun problem current ongoing. Confiscation is protected by the 2nd. Using a list for use like that would be exactly the same as using something like private medical records, social security numbers or even credit cards. In other words, it would be illegal and we already have systems in place to stop it.

  12.  @Senior215  yes, the homicide rate is high. Ignoring gang crime is dumb, but all 50 states have high homicide rates. Stating that guns are also used for self-harm doesn't help you in any way. Again, pushing myths right out of the NRA playbook. Redflag laws are used to prevent shootings, end of story. Californias red flag laws are credited with stopping dozens of shootings and suicides. Now we can end qualified immunity, that would solve a lot of your complaints.
