I'm sorry to hear that. I know inflammatory heart problems can take at least 6 months without exercise to really get through. Hopefully you pull through and things start to go back to normal, but longterm issues like this are very taxing. Good luck to you.

Okay, and? They know people can get myocarditis or pericarditis so they want to study the people who got it. What's your point?

@justthe2ofusindempines High BP is also a massive sign for kidney issues, so maybe get that looked into just in case. I had high BP and it turned out to be a kidney function problem. Did the echo show anything? Usually that's to find and issues with the way the heart is functioning in acute areas, but myocarditis is usually diagnosed through a cardiac mri, and pericarditis through an x-ray. ECGs can show show normal for both illnesses.

@Songstarify Long covid is just a broad group of people who suffer from long term side effects from covid. ME/CFS also has nothing to do with high BP. In fact CFS patients usually have much lower blood pressure overall. The relationship between viral infection and heart inflammation is much more likely, especially given how common it is.
