@JigglyPuffMafia That's not how GDP works. The P literally stands for product. Printing money has no effect on GDP.

@JigglyPuffMafia Ease of borrowing money is to do with interest rates, not printing money. In fact printing money works indirectly as it causes inflation and increased interest rates. Now what you invest the money in, THAT causes an increase in economic growth and GDP, but not the money simply being printed.

@JigglyPuffMafia That's not a technicality. Bond buying is one of many ways a fed can spend printed money. They could also use it to buy trillions in weapons during wartime. Just because one methods drops interest rates, does not mean all methods do. If you can't see the difference in that then stop all together.
