That's an increase of 7.6% over 4 years. Maybe you should look up the lumber industry and the huge mistake they made when covid happened. Fun fact, the issue is supply and demand.

  12.  @boduke2299  Pre-pandemic lumber hit $460. The lumber industry assumed demand would drop and sold off their stock on the cheap. They were wrong and demand actually increased, resulting in a shortage. Today prices are back down to $495, which is only 7.6% more than 4 years ago. If you really want a fun fact, the week Biden took office lumber was at around $800, so let's talk about the 38% drop in lumber prices since Jan 2021.

Decades of reaganomics reducing taxes for the rich and putting more burden on the middle class broke us, not anything Biden did. Trump literally agreed to the Afghanistan withdrawal and released thousands of Taliban fighters, as well as the current head of the Taliban in Afghanistan. The southern border that Republicans refuse to pass funding for? That southern border? Gas prices skyrocketed because under Trump our oil production shrank. Food and energy are very fuel dependant, so when production drops imports rise. We gave very little money to Ukraine at all. Almost everything we send it old equipment we phased out anyway. You're an embarrassment.
