  11.  @garrygraham7901  no dear, it is not that the biblegod is fictional that gets me riled up. I think you allready knowthat.. I too can read.. I too have eyes, and I have my integrity. My line in the sand if you will. It is not pride, but perhaps you will see it as pride.. perhaps you will see it as a sin. I will give you a few pointers of what I see as wrong ( and as proof that the book god is an evil character). The premise here is, he is all knowing, he is never wrong, and he is good to good people, and sends the rest to hell. 1 All the killing, and all the abuse of children to make apoint, that the book god does. - The first born in egypt ( inculding animals). Abraham almost killing his son ( trauma bigtime). Killing Jobs(I think it was Job)children, then "replacing them with NEW children.. The book god does not see children as humans, and have no issues causing them great harm or death . 2, He has rules for slavery, including how severely you may beat your slaves... And not once is it said that slavery is bad. A father can sell his daughter as a slave, meaning girls are born slaves, only some men are not slaves. 3 The good person Lot, is saved from the killing of Sodom and Gomorrah.. He is a better person than everyone there, including babies. Sara, his wife, looks back once, at her lost life, lost family, lost friends, and is punished and killed. Lot keeps on with his 2 daughters..gets drunk and gets them pregnatn.. this is NOT punished.. so incest must be a good thing. So much more to pick from.. but I have nothing to repent, compared to what that character has:P And I certainly would NEVER worship such a being even if it was real.. Now , debating me is a sin.. Letting me live, is also a sin.. They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB) Cursed be he who does the Lords work remissly, cursed he who holds back his sword from blood. (Jeremiah 48:10 NAB)
