  2.  @donikatod460  normally I do not to be honest, but I have, for weeks at the time, and not really missing it much. A good cooling box does well for a fridge, a good woodstove will keep your house warm, and allow constant hot water. Books are great for relaxing, and in winter, freezing stuff is not hard at all. Internet sucks without electricity though, I have to admit :)

  3.  @donikatod460  of course there are differences, and I am not against electricity per se.. just our complete dependance on it. Freedom, be it of thought or otherwise, is not existing in our world much anymore. I have felt like a free range slave all my life, due to all the laws and rules and fees , pushed on me by people I never knew, who seems to think they can guide my life as they please ( read governments). At the same time, the rules pushed on "us", do not apply to "them". I think most people do not even know what freedom is anymore.. and it scares them. Cities, not good for people at all.. no way you can have a better life in a city. More stuff, sure, but not a better life.

  7.  @xMrjamjam  not everyone needs to homestead, we also need people who can sow clothes, make shoes, craft items, create furniture. A community, a society, is a group of people working together, helping eachoter, yes, but more than anything, following THEIR own dreams of what they want to do.
