@JoesWebPresence Lol, that is gutsy of you, telling me what i believe:P And no.. It would be a complete mess to gather all the religious books, then try to figure out the correct way to adress YOUR version of the gods... blahh:P How about this possibility. Any conection between an individual and the divine.. is between the individual and the divine.. Any book trying to distort this, and make rules, actually block you. Anyways, you support and defend slavery, genocide, sexual abuse, childabuse... Ithink we are done :) goodbye:)

I ask you how can we love someone that we can not see or interact with? Love is an emotion pertaining to physical existence not to faithful ideologies, yet God threatens you with death just because your love for your mother maybe stronger than your love for him. (Matthew 10:34) Families will be torn apart because of Jesus. “Brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.” (Matthew 10:21) Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. He hasn’t the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament. (Matthew 5:17)

As you can see, some have allready given up.. and some want to trust religion, that has never caused a war or problems , evr ( sarcasm). But there are still a few of us left, who can see the good in people ;)

@billyballoonhead.6734 If you want to belive that.. I am just sad that you think it wicked to love your own family. Abandoning children is considered child abuse by most, but to you, it a virtue.. I think I will let the book god stay in the book:P

@JoesWebPresence Not going to read all that.. telling me what god and jesus thinks and means is 1, blasphemy, as per your own belief, and hence punishable by death, as per your own book. 2, pointless, since I do not believe in the book god.. or the book jesus.. ,.. your claims about.. anything on them is irrelevant. The only thing I ever do about the bible book, is quote it.. and follow the one command they make about it. DO NOT interpret it to your own liking.. It is inspired bygod as is, and should be read to the letter. I still dont belive in it though.. but it supports slavery, it supports genocide, it justefies killing children to make a point.. How can anyone worship this??? I find it baffling.. and dangerous.

@Thyalwaysseek no I have not. I have not interpreted it at all, I read it as is, I printed it in as is.. The one command of the bible i do follow when talking about is.. DO NOT INTERPRET! It is already inspired by god, and interpreting it to fit your needs is actually saying that god was wrong:P But hey. I think that book god is insane.. so yeah.. he is really wrong on a lot of things. The "you took it out of context" and the " that is not what god meant",, common excuses to explain away the horrors described in the book. What about this one? The following passage describes the sickening practice of sex slavery. How can anyone think it is moral to sell your own daughter as a sex slave? When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl’s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT) '

@JoesWebPresence You do that.. Did you really think that using what god says to convince would work? lol.. What if I told you what odin says.. would that make you follow Odin? o.o ( it is an example, I dont have a god:P)

@JoesWebPresence Oh I am sure you didnt know this. Sorry.. But if you support the religiuous book, bible... Then by default youmust support these things ( even if you dont DO them), as they are done and regulated by your god, that you MUST respect and obey. OR , you could say your god is wrong.. thats an option...

@moralityisnotsubjective5 I wish I could agree with you, but I only agree with the first part. Jesus demand that you love him more than any of your family, including your children, and that you are willing to leave them forhim... No sane adult would demand that of a parent. Jesus is not your friend if he can ask such a thing of you.. leave your family..Jesus loves jesus, and deaqmnd you love jesus.. he is a psychopath. I would also not use the name of another god if I was a christian.. that dooms you to death and hell, according to the book.. just saying.

@gabrielleg8794 you know, it sounds all wonderful.. until you you realise that he could stop all this madness, and show his glory that way, that would convert people if anything would.. free will intact. But no.. you haver to humiliate yourself, you have to name yourself a terrible humsn ( mostly for just being human), you have to beg.. and hope.. and MAYBE something ok will happen. That is a dspiccable, self absorbed god if you really think about it...
