@ffn8917 Perhaps even honest, decent people on a low income, maybe no income now, have problems? I see in this comment section that blaming tenants, calling them names etc ( and a lot are bad, I am not saying they are not) blaming everything on them.. and not even mentioning the fact that people also have to eat..., and eating ramen for ayear will kill you, but that is ok if your landlord gets his rent? And I am not even saying landlords are to blame( alltho some bad apples there too), I am saying the system is broken. Noone should have to beg for a home, and pay to live in someone elses building. But here we are.. and the rent that must be taken to cover landlord costs, are now too high for most people on low income.
This is not about tenents being assholes by definition.. it is all about a system that doesnt work for tenants, and hence , doesnt work for landlords. It only works for the highups that charge all the fees and make all the rules.

@captdread2013 Lol, Actuall, my landlord sought me:P And I am paying my rent, because I still can. Once I cant, and I expect that to be sooner rather than later, I am on the street... and that is actually illegal in this country:P
I will go willingly btw, I do not have small children anymore, so its just me and my dog.. we can get by somehow.
But what you are doing right now.. is demanding people to live as if their situation is the same as it was when the renting started. They might have had a job, now lost due to not being essential, etc.
And if you have children.. living on the street is a very bad option.. it is anyway, but I choose to think you know why I say there is a difference between having children and not having any.
The life as we knew it is gone, it will never come back, and things will get worse, not better. I hope that one day soon, you will experience something that makes you understand why I say the system is broken, because clearly.. you have not.
