12000 year cycles. That is how antarctica has layers that show arctic conditions, on top of tropical, on top of arctic , etc.
Poles flip between the same 4 spots, 12000 years where they are now, and 12000 years for the other 2. 4 corners of the world?
The sun is the major player here. Earths magnetic fields are weakening severely, and gaster and faster, just like the magnetic poles are moving faster and faster. The current geographical poles are not going anywhere.
The sun is going to go micronova, causing all the weird stuff, isotopes etc, that can not be explained in any other way.
Before the sun goes nova, the combination of decreased magnetic field protection, with increased sun activity, will cause increasungly severe weather, and at any point, an EMP, due to a CME ( coronal mass ejection), that will fry and melt everything electrical.
This CME could happen at any moment, but most likely not quite yet. The next is the solar micronova. This will cause the crust to loosen and move, oceans will come inland, earthquakes and volcanoes and whatnot will be felt. Then it will settle, the water will recede, very likely to new coastlines. We may have new mointains, maybe lost some old ones.
The main thing is.. this is survivable, if it wasnt, we would not be here. Nor would plants and animals be here.
I am curious, what would you prefer? To keep electricity, and have ww3, ending up as slaves in camps like the hunger games? Or would you rather have a world without electricity, and hence no war, no government and no borders?
