@Mylkygoddess Veganism.. killing more animals than ever.. first you want to have all our farm animals go extinct.. no one will have them, if they are all cost and no gain. Second, more crops will need to be grown for human consumption, meaning more rodents, deer, rabbits, birds and insects dying per acre grown crop than any pasture ever did. Herbicides, pesticides and machinery are all big killers of animal life.
Last, but not least.. humans will starve, as the source for natural fertilizer has been killed off ( farm animals manure), and artificial fertilizer only makes crops grow big, but contains little to no nutrients. Hooray.. what a way to go to save.. oh.. not really anything.

@kozuken6368 Some documentaries are made to make things look worse than they are. A cow being milked nonstop would be completely ruined in less than a day, not even the worst of places would do that, as it would destroy their income. Like I said, there is absolutely room for improvement, like calf sharing, where the cow gets to be with her calf all day, then they get to be in 2 stalls next to each other over night, milking in the morning, and then the calf is with the mother again all day. Happy cow, happy calf, a little less milk for the humans, but also less need for caring for the calves, as the cow can do that. Also only one milking of the cow, not 2.

@kozuken6368 You do not know much about cows , do you? Yes, a lot of cows gets inseminated, but quite a few get pregnant the normal way as well.
Yes, in modern dairy farms, the calf is removed from the mother ( a method that is not needed, and can be fixed with better methods, allthough modern dairy cows are terrible mothers), but the calves do get the milk from the mother the first few meals, to get the colostrum they need for good health.
Bulls have sperm, other cows do not.
Yes, most males grow up to become dinner, but so does some females.
Cows do not get milked constantly, they get milked twice a day. If they are not milked, they develop udder problems, like mastitis, which is very painful.
A cow is not milked during the last 2 or 3 months of a pregnancy, as she needs her energy for the calf that is growing inside her. In nature she would wean her older calf around the same time, so the timing is perfectly natural.
There are lots of things that can be improved upon, but stop lying about stuff.

@Surly Duff You are free to think what you want. Do you find the animals disgusting, or only meat?
Killing is never nice, and never fun, but having an animal and then killing it at home, without pain, and without it seeing it coming, is a HUGE lot better than trucking it for hours, then chasing it through a chute where the smells alone must be scary.
Humans need animal products ( meat), to develop properly. To replace natural meat with chemical concoctions does not work well.
Soon you may find that food is scarce, and that supplements are not available. Not all plants grow everywhere , year round.. so what do you eat then? Humans are not herbivores..

Earthling Amélie No, I am not a cow,.. cows eat grass, I eat meat and other animal products, there is a difference:) Do I need milk? Nope, Do I like milk? Yes, and since cows, if they are dairy cows, and even if they go with their calf, need to be milked at least once a day, a few months a year, I might aswell drink it. I could feed it to the pigs and chickens, they love it too. For now, they have to settle for buttermilk:P
Oh, edit, cows have udders, not breasts.

@divyanshushankar8134 that depends, cows in dairy, are raised for milk. To make milk, they must have a calf. Most dairy cows will have a calf every year ( just like wild animals, so this is not too much), for a few years, then she will be slaughtered. She will be milked for about 9 out of 12 months a year, having a break from milking at the end of each pregnancy.
Her sons, will NOT be raised to make milk, they will be raised for meat.. .
Yes, cows can take care of a lot in animal husbandry.. I have found it hard to make omelets from milk only, and no eggs..But chickens following cows ( about 4 days later) in pasture.. will reduce the amount of flies quite noticably..and this will make it better for the cows .
Goats and sheep can graze where cows can not, and goats are really good at clearing new land.. followed by pigs to dig in a bit and get out roots and stuff.
Cows are great for a lot.. in fact.. meat from a cow that has gone on pasture for one year after she finishes her milking age.. is on par with wagyu beef. And it would give a loyal partner a year of just enjoying life.. well deserved if you ask me.
Are you saying to raise only female cows? And pretend males are not born.. or what?

are you seriously comparing a 4 legged animal, with a small child? While both may be equally loved by their family, they are 2 very different beings.. In the USA, in a 5 year period, about 15 % of owners, reported a lost dog ( 85 % not lost, but safe at home, in other words). about 95% of those lost, are returned home eventually. Sometimes a dog gets stolen, and it takes more time.. sometimes it runs off, and remain in an area unknown to you, and noone reports it as a stray.
Every single year, about 800 000 thousand children disappear in the USA, never to be seen again...
You honestly think that state appointed foster parents are better for a child that ran away and got lost? If there was abuse going on.. then ok, but more often than not.. a child will run from home because it is a child, and no better reason than that. I did, my children did.. luckily we all got bored and went home again:P

@bhavikasicka7871 hmm yes, and what planet are you from?
Ethical eating. Is it ethical to allow meat eaters to kill other animals then? Is it ethical to allow the existence of meat eating plants?
Is it ethical to deny nature ?
Is it ethical to kill more wildlife, mice, rats, moles, rabbits, deer, birds of all kinds, all killed in the millions every year... thousands for every single field of vegan crops.
Is it ethical to poison nature? With pesticides and herbicides and fake fertilizers?
And finally. Is it ethical to force human children to live off of food they can not digest, and that does not have the nutrients they MUST have for normal development?
Your argument is so stupid, and so uneductated that it blows my mind.. we can not eat based ont athics only.. we MUST eat our species appropriate food.. and we are NOT herbivores.
Did you know you will starve to death soon?
Only eating plants, you will soon find out what croplosses means.. my animals can still eat grass and leaves and whatnot, my chickens loves bugs.. you will have to eat what they eat.. lol
Ethical my ass.. Pink fluffy, fall for the fucking propaganda, unicorn thinking is all it is.
