This is meant as a reassuring comment, as far as viruses go. They have never been proved to be contagious in any way. They are not alive to begin with, and they do not replicate themselves. They are created by our own body cells, when the body has experienced some kind of trauma, toxins, falling, stress, fear, anything. They are like little robot sponges, programmed to mop up toxins and do repairs on cells.. that is all they do.
You can get infected with a virus just as often as you can get infected with someone elses nose. The only way to get a strangers virus into you, is by injection . ( kissing and other body fluid contacts, are normal, and never enters the bloodstream.. ever.
You can hold and hug and kiss safely.
For anyone wanting actual information ( dont just take my word for it, or dismiss it offhand), please say so, and I will add some links.
