@brianellis7291 I dont follow any god, certainly not a book god that thinks some birds have 4 legs.. ( think bible) But I do celebrate Yule, why? Bcause the sun just turned, days are getting longer again.. I think thats worth celebrating:) We will celebrate that on the day it turns, if the rest of the family is off somewhere else for xmas. If not, we will just do it on the 24th, because thats what everyones used to. Sometimes it doesnt take a god to make it worthwhile to celebrate something, somethimes, getting together for a nice day with family is enough:) What I do avoid, is houlier than thou, people, whi keeps telling everyone else how to do things right.. and tells people to repent for whatever.. Ill repent sleeping in, when your biblegod repents being a mass murderer and stops promoting slavery.

@lornadoone8887 No, I am not better, thats just how you read it, not how I meant it. I FEEL better emotionally, but thats got nothing to do with being a better person. I suppose I am about average that way, better than some, not as good as others. I dont know about you, but when someone tells me to "repent", that means they somehow, without knowing the first thing about me ( or anyone else in the comments), assume we are worse than they are.. why else would they need to tell us to repent? If they assumed we were like them, we would allready know how to repent. This guy Bruan, clearly is a good person, polite, respectful and all that.. yet he asks people, that may be of different religions and such, to repent to HIS god.. I mean why.. just why? Why not leave that unsaid? I guess the thing I do miss in so many book god followers ( meaning I think their gods do not ecist), is honesty about the religion they claim to follow. Most dont even know how many people god kills in the bible.. or that the bible supports slavery, or that the bible demands every christian to kill non believers and people of other religions if theydont want to go to hell themselves. They pretend this is not written, but it is.. They also tend to claim that god knows everything, and is flawless in his understanding of things.. well, then he should KNOW that bats are not birds.. he made the darned things..yet he does not. He also thinks that if a mating pair of goats, mate in a riim with stripes on the walls, then the babues will have stripes.. very not how it works.. yet the book gods seem to have a lot of thoise.. ancient beliefs.

true, skip the plants and go for the meat. May be a little boring, but meat has everything a human body needs, plants do not, and they are also fill of natural toxins and carcinogens in addition to what the pesticeds etc, gives.

@brianellis7291 Thank you for your kind words, but you know, of you read the bible, there is no blessing of my kind, but only death and hell. :) That bible is so loving, lol Many bible followers are so much better people than the bookgod they follow, and seem to have a hard time taking the bed with the good as it reads in the book. The bible god is never wrong or mistaken, it is seen as heresy to contradict or disagree with any commandment. This means that breaking commendments because on disagrees with them, are a severe sin, most often punishable by death. One obvious one, is the command that any child that hits, or uses foul language to his parents, should be killed by stoning. As a non god follower, I am free to love my children without interference.. as a bible follower, I would have to be ready to leave them at a moments notice, if jesus ( somehow), needed me .. this includes leaving infants and tiddlers behind ( and old and sick parents.). Nothing good about that, not even acceptable. And you are lucky to be a male, sonce all females, are born slaves.. according to the bible. Jesus says, “Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace on earth! No, rather a sword lf you love your father, mother, sister, brother, more than me, you are not worthy of being mine. “The real beauty of this verse is that Jesus demands people truly love him more then they love their own family. I ask you how can we love someone that we can not see or interact with? Love is an emotion pertaining to physical existence not to faithful ideologies, yet God threatens you with death just because your love for your mother maybe stronger than your love for him. (Matthew 10:34) Families will be torn apart because of Jesus. “Brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.” (Matthew 10:21) Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. He hasn’t the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament. (Matthew 5:17) I wish you all the best, but please.. I want no kind of blessing from a god that clearly see my gender as nothing but broodmares and sextoys.

@rhondagraumann2544 Dont.. I am happy with my choices, I dont need your pity. In fact, I feel sorry for YOU, following a god that sees you as worthless unless you can provide some bedfun for men. When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl’s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT) Note.. it says WHEN a father sells his daughter, not IF. Meaning.. women are born slaves. A fact modern christians seem to ignore.
