You dont need the bible to know there is divine presence in this world. It is just nothing like the bible god. For one, it loves everyone the same.. there is nothing you can do to become a favoured one, and there is nothing you can do to lose that love.. it is divine.,, not human. No religion represents the true divine aspect.. no religion can, because no riles are required, no offerings are needed. This world is out testing ground, normal things like actions having consequences is all the punishment/reward you will get. You are a part of everything, and everything is a part of you. Religions tend to need to control your life and mind.. the divine aspect does not, it has no needs, no wants.

@coldman5149 No, it can not change my life. Like any other religion, it can be used to excuse genocide, and other atrocities. Like keeping half of the population in slavery from birth. Whilst there are a lot of nice muslims, I know a few, What it seem to have been VERY good at, is to create men who act like spoiled children . They need to be boss, and their best argument is a fist. They think its womens responsibility to think of the mens penises all day.. and be sure not to arouse the wrong ones... Because men cant control their urges ( meaning to me, that they are called childish and stupid, but they think its normal. No.. what WOULD change your life, is stepping away from religion alltogether, and just try to be a good person. But nah.. @DwaineWatson-qi4xd none of them got to the promised land... what the bible fails to point out, is that 1, the journey took 9 days for the egyptian army, so say a month for a group with children and old people. 2 Israel was under egyptian rule at that time. They went from egypt to egypt. The while journey sounds like a warparty to me, killing and murdering, stealing( including little girls for the men to play with).. all in the name of the biblegod:P

The retraining seems to have worked well on Peterson.. he has lost the integrity he once had.. very sad.. and now bats are bords I guess., sonce the bible is true:P You cant have it both ways guys, its either true.. or written by himans with a human understanding of things way back when, in order to create a story with which to control other humans. The biblegod is petty, gives rules for slavery, like when a father sells a daughter, but never says slavery is bad. He kills indesriminatly when the has a hissyfit, or when his favourutes wants other peoples property. ( He generally needs people to do targeted killings , weird). He sacrificed one child to be able to forgive his other children. He did not protect that one child, and he never forgave anyone for anything.. people are still begging to be forgiven 2000 years later:P What he DID manage to do, was create a very large following of people, that, every week, will consume the flesh and blood of the sacrificed son. Wafers and wine, in a cannibalistic ritual by proxy. That sounds more like black magic to me:P

@wolfpower1111 and that story has yet to be proven true, while israelis has killed , on average, 100 children per year for 75 years. Killed them for yelling slurs, killed them for throuwing rocks, killed them for being palestinian. I saw some footage from Gaza.. recent.. atleast 5 limp, dead infants in that one clip.. proabably way past 40 dead children in total.. and they are not beaheded, just bombed, shredded, ripped apart.. dying slowly. and a lot of other children both dead and wounded, cruing and scared. Are you telling me that those children deserve what they got because you THINK a story is true?

(Matthew 10:34) Jesus condemns entire cities to dreadful deaths and to the eternal torment of hell because they didn’t care for his preaching. (Matthew 11:20) Jesus is criticized by the Pharisees for not washing his hands before eating. He defends himself by attacking them for not killing disobedient children according to the commandment: He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. (Matthew 15:4-7) no thanks, I will love my children more than I could ever love anyone that DEMANDS to be loved. I belive in free speech, and the right to not agree with what I hear.. I do not wish to kill people just because they dont like what I say. Children will always rebel, some more than others. But ofc, killing those that rebel the most, will ensure a nice, obedient flock for the religion.

@spencerbrown3 I do not accept the Bible as God’s word because it contains thousand of errors and contradictions that can not be solved, only rationalized. I refuse to accept Jesus as my personal savior, for his behavior and teachings often expose one who should be escaped and not worshiped. I ask that you read this page in light of the bible’s teachings; Christians should be “open to reason” (James 3:17 RSV), that we should “reason together” (Isaiah 1:18) and “he who hates correction will die” (Proverbs 15:10) to understand my perspective that the bible has many shortcomings. I find the idea that a man had to die for my sins revolting. If God was truly omnipotent he could have simply forgiven us. What kind of deity, would execute one child in order to forgive it’s others? Modern society would call an individual like this sadistic, insane and cruel. Surely, you would not worship a child killer, why do you expect me to? Would you find a judge worthy of the title who would allow my child to be executed in lieu of my sins?

She did the job she percieved god had told her to do, thats it., She did a lot of great work, but she was no saunt, and again.,. she nevre pretended to be. And disagree if you like, it matters not. The divine love is not a person deciding to love someone.. it is a force that loves every souls the same, from cradle to grave and beyond. The principle of divine is impossible to understand completely with a human mind., our percieved human justice does not apply. You may think that a god should feel more for one person that does stuff you like, than anotehr person who does stuff you do not like.. but the divine is not a person.. and by making people different like that, raises them to a godlike status in your mind.. someone who deserves more or less than the rest of the world and all the lifeforms on it. There are no words to descrive teh feeling.. But rather than being jealous of the love given to hitlers soul at the time of its birth.. be happy that the same amount of love is given to you, and everyone else. Hitler did a lot of crap, karma is real, his soul will have to make up for it.. that is part of it.

@normadaly7506 I never deined a devine aspect to the world. However, all the inconsistencies,, flaws and the petty nature if the frand claims in book religions shows me clearly that these books are written by scholars with a rather medival take on science for instance. Bit a good understanding of how to scare people into compliance. They are not books of any god. As if any god would bother with a book... the divine will speak to the individual, it is not hampered by reading skills:P In fact I am baffled about all the intellectual hoops and all the fear it takes to follow any of those religions.

To leave your child is abuse, it’s called neglect, pure and simple. (Matthew 19:29) Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children according to Old Testament law. (Mark 7:9)
