  1. I didn't fully get the differentiation between AWD and RWD until I had both cars of the same-ish platform. The biggest difference for me is the loss in steering feel. The front wheels are doing too much to be communicative in an AWD car. So beyond needing ludicrous speeds to break the car loose, you also get dramatically less warning that you're about to go over. Even in daily driver duties, the steering is so much more of a joy to use. It really is like walking around in boots year round.
