  1. I like my current Alpin PA4's a lot, but they certainly do give away laterally on dry pavement way before even Conti DWS's. If winter really is going to be this mild, the DWS's are choice. They held up okay in the early winter storm we got in December also.

  2. Bridgestone has a performance and a snow model for Blizzak's. I think the LM's are comparable and should give similar feel and dry grip to Vredeistein and Pilot Alpin. The Blizzak WS is the one that is more of a clunky winter boot equivalent to say a Michelin X-Ice.
