  1. Oh yes Black lung. I remember hearing about a lot of men on Tyneside dying of that in the 1960s. X Pitmen obviously. Then Asbestosis became a big killer on Tyneside from the 60s till the present day. Mostly x ship yard workers, but also x building industry workers too. Been sweating on the top line myself worrying I might develop it after 40 years on building sites. Yes "White privilege" is a hell of a thing.

The demographic flooding Gateshead,seems be majority African, but every other lot is represented. There's some we call "Mystery meat" on Tyneside. IE we ain't got a clue what they are. Sad to report more by the week around Gateshead. Plus I'm in the toon every weekend. It's incredible. On the streets it's like 30 to 40% ethnic. Yet in the pubs it's 99% our lot. There seems be lots ethnic eating places opening up, where they sit all nite. Been 3 rapes in the city centre in last few weeks. Indigenous victims, the culprits, not indigenous.

  12. I've a lady friend originally from Newcastle living in London, in a very "enriched area". She told me recently she bought a hard up looking White man sitting in a door way, a sandwich. His reply was....."jeez your English". He was from Manchester and thanked her.

I know the history of it chapter and verse. I know the History of These British isles chapter and verse too.
