  13. I used to be a butcher. Even in cold climate, Pork spoils much faster then Beef or Pork. Hence it's "cured" to make Bacon. We used to keep pork in separate fridges from the Beef and Lamb. So imagine in the middle east climate where the Muslims and Juice originate, Pork would instantly go off? Hence they never ate it, and stipulated it in their religious texts. However we have cold storage now.
