  1. Got a Lady friend who left Gateshead in 2009 and went to London for work opportunities. Her plan was to stay 10 years tops and return home with some savings. She has been bidding for flats on Gateshead council housing list for 5 years. Despite always being in employment, paying full rent, never being in arrears etc, Gateshead Council will just not give this lady a flat in her home town. Shes nearing retirement, has a dangerous nut job next door to her, and is desperate to be home. In those 5 years iv seen many flats she has bid for, go to foreign newcomers, who leap frog straight to the top of our council house list. Any country that don't put its own people first, is a Country that is run by Traitors!
