She suggested it was a smear against him, to justify his removal? When the Austrian Painter stormed the Hotel with his SS men, Rohm was alone in his room and was arrested. It was another SA leader who was found in bed with a Teenage boy. I forgot his name. The Painter wanted to expel Rohm abroad because he was an old friend. Apparently it was Goring and others who wanted him unalived.
