  5. Almost every pub in Newcastle now has African doormen. I was talking to the last white hold outs in one pub last nite. I asked them how long they thought they would last on the door they have worked for years, as all the pubs further up had all fallen. Unfortunately I can't post the reply.

  11. Love Pancakes. Happy memories of my mum cooking them for we 6 kids in the mid 1960s. She used to flip them. We kids were lined up with plates ready. 😋
